A Debutante Ball is a special once in a lifetime event for students, their families and the school community. However, the organisation of such a memorable occasion can be an onerous task for staff and parents.
David Skinner and The Dance Studio’s organising committee, specialise in coordinating all aspects of your function so that the school and parents are able to relax and enjoy the evening.
The Dance Studio’s Debutante Events are of the highest standard. No fine detail is overlooked from the choreography, music selection to venue hire, catering, flowers, photography through to the boys shoes and the girls gloves.
Our role is to create an evening to your specifications - school and parent committees can be involved at every stage.
Our organising committee include event coordinators, dance professionals / choreographers and still and video photographers that are among the best in the business. Together we have more than 15 year’s debutante management experience.
Our approach is unique. We supply a total package from securing the best available venue, overseeing the menu, providing the dance lessons and a master of ceremonies to arranging security on the night and hire of suites, shoes and gloves.
Our philosophy is to inspire the students and engage the school and parent groups in preparation for the evening. We do this through introductory meetings with parents and debutante participants, and provide an information booklet along with regular newsletters and updates.
It’s also about the big night. A Debutante Ball is an opportunity for teenagers to have exposure to traditional forms of dance, as well as, contemporary dances which we include in our famous fun themes. Our specially choreographed formation sets and presentation dances ensure the students enjoy themselves and their families and friends are in awe.
